Chromium - Chicago
Formerly of Mindy's HotChocolate and Celeste, Amanda Barnes now oversees the culinary program at Chromium. The new American concept is located in The Hotel at Midtown.
Chromium's menu is creative and seasonal and the team works with responsibly sourced ingredients from local farms. It aims to be a twist on the typical hotel dining experience with dishes like salmon skin chicharrones, little gem salads, duck fat tater tots, smoked pappardelle, and wagyu and beef heart meatballs. Ingredients like cheese, butter, yogurt, pickles and even mortadella are made in-house from scratch.
Chromium serves brunch, lunch and dinner. More conventional fare ranges from roast chicken to a whole black bass served for two.
