Chez Joel - Chicago
At Chez Joël, diners can enjoy a taste of France in a quaint, friendly bistro. In the midst of Little Italy, Chez Joël creates the tastes and aromas of France.

Food was good. Prices reasonable for today's world. Looks like they have a awesome eating area outside but it was not outside weather when we were there. A lot of small tables in a small area. It's ok but very loud. Not good if you have hearing issues.
It was good and I enjoyed the food. The only weird thing is it's a small place and when I walked in, staff just stared at me. No good evening, no may I help you, no nothing. Just stares. Finally I just sat down. Then I went up to the bar and ordered a wine. Then they said we will bring your drink. Then a server came up and asked me if I res. I did not but it was like walk in off the street was so peculiar it threw them for a complete loop. Anyway, the food was good. The Duck pate presentation was very good as was the Moulton cake.
Chez Joel is one of my favorite French restaurants. The food is tasty, delicious and made to order as you wish. The hostess and staff are friendly, professional, courteous and treat you like a star@@
This review is for Chicago 2022 restaurant week. We originally reserved a corner table for 4 adults and a baby (including stroller) but decided to not bring...
We really like this restaurant. The dining room is small but not cramped. Menu and wine selection is good, and well executed. They have an outside seating area we haven’t tried yet.
My sister invited me to this event. From the personnel to the tables, everything about this place exudes exclusivity. The staff is extremely kind and...
Amazing food, charming ambiance and great service!! It was my first time there, but definitely not the last. Every single dish was a taste of heaven.
First chilly day of the year - we had reservations outside, but they had tons of heat lamps so it was fine. The patio is beautiful with chandeliers and...
Lovely little French restaurant in Little Italy. The menu is compact and to the point, but all the classics are represented. They have a beautiful patio and a nice, cozy, dining room. They usually have a fish special that's solid and their daily offerings are great. The house salad is organic. They are not fast, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.
