Chef Bill Kim’s Pizza & Parm Shop - Chicago
Known for restaurants like his hugely popular urbanbelly and Belly Shack, Chef Bill Kim comes out post-pandemic with a virtual kitchen focused on pizza (specifically Detroit style) and sandwiches. The Detroit pizza is rectangular with a caramelized cheese crust, and the sandwiches include classic chicken parmesan as well as one made with a pizza slice, folded in half, and filled with ricotta, sausage, tomato sauce and pecorino.
At Chef Bill Kim's Pizza & Parm Shop, you can order a Detroit pizza of ricotta and arugula, double smoked pork and pineapple, Korean BBQ ground beef and kimchi or BBQ katsu chicken, combinations you've likely never enjoyed before.
Chicken parm and cauliflower parm are the sandwich options, and for each, Chef Kim adds melted cheese and dips each sando in marinara.
Chef Kim likes cauliflower, and he hopes you do, too: sesame-soy and Buffalo Seoul cauliflower "wings" are on the menu for those who like a little veg with their 'za.
For dessert, Pretty Cool ice cream bars, which are highly complementary to the well-seasoned pizza and sandwiches.
