A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure to play at Cafe La Cave Banquet Hall and we were pleasantly surprised. Before our band started setting up, the banquet hall's manager - Randy made some upgrades around the stage as we'd requested. He was kind enough to oblige to all our requests during and after the party. The food was awesome too. Thank you for your professionalism. ORIENT BAND

A true gem of a restaurant! This unique dining experience is a must visit. The ambiance is truly unique and unforgettable. The quality of food meets all expectations, for some even exceed. If you get a chance to go before they close their doors in March 2023, go and enjoy yourself!

This place is pretty good, ordered the Chicken Piccatta it was fresh and flavorful. It was my first time trying Risotto and I had no complaints. The steaks are delectable also, I would come here again.

Go-to for a fancy or celebration dinner in appropriate attire. This place has some old school traditions such as table side food preparation. Highly recommend bar menu. Pear martini was amazing. French onion soup, seafood medallion- superb. To the owner: waiter could show some enthusiasm, he was bland. Dessert menu should include one or two seasonal items. I was looking forward to a pumpkin type of dessert like pumpkin cheesecake or tiramisu.

Amazing long standing restaurant that is a staple in the area. On the pricier side but we'll worth it. The name matches the enterior. The main restaurant walls all look like a cave with dim lighting. The food is superior. It's also a great spot to eat and valet prior to a concert at All State Arena.

I had to take time for this 5 star review; where do I begin? Walking in as a wedding guest, the facility is lovely, the tray pass appetizers were delicious, and the staff was attentive and kind. When my elderly 88 yo Mom needed assistance, the greatest people came to her aid. Ramiro was a shining star and Randy seemed to have full command of the operation. the food was absolutely amazing! The service unparalleled! This place works like a fine watch! Not a beat out of time. We will come back to eat at the restaurant for sure, but if you are looking for a wedding facility you can have complete confidence that you have picked the best of the best!

Excellent. Reminded me of the fine dining available before the pandemic. The food and the service were outstanding. The atmosphere. The live music. The attention to detail... It was a fantastic experience all around. Definitely going back next time I'm in Chicago.

This review is about a year late, but my wife and I couldn’t tell you how happy we were to have our wedding there. Honestly, if I could give this place a 20/5 I would. The reason mainly being Randy. My wife and I couldn’t have been more grateful or appreciative about his passion and his help managing our big day. We ended up choosing all of the vendors off his list. They are truly the best of the best. I was stunned about how easy that made planning. The way he was able to help design and offer suggestions along the way helped so much. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner there. For what we wanted and what other venues were offering, Cafe La Cafe provided better quality and greater value. The food was absolutely amazing, the venue is stunning, and Randy helps tie everything together. Again, 20/5.
