Bathrooms stink and are dirty and grimy as heck... and service is terrible. When you reserve a spot and pay $16 a cocktail, you should be attended to.. Anthony was great but ended his shift as we walked in. Server actually forgot to put in our cocktails at one point. There are plenty of other places in the city you can pay much less, get better service, have cleaner restrooms, and tastier cocktails. So disappointing for our friends birthday We were literally ignored for the first 20 minutes of our visit.... we had a reservation. DJ also sucks so much. Sorry, but you're in the heart of Chicago. Pay someone who is better than your sons friends on his college weekend gig... also now we've been waiting over 20 minutes for our check... this place sucks. And I never leave bad reviews.

A local dive bar feel in one of the most tourist-congested areas of town. Things get wild in this dark dive bar. Drinks are absolutely delicious. I’ve been to the Miami location, which is fun, but Chicago is lit!!

We were very early on Friday afternoon The room is comfortable and attractive and completely forgettable. The cocktails are very well constructed. And pricey. The drink list lacks breadth and depth. The service was perfunctory. Confusing since this place is on just about everyone’s craft cocktail go to list for Chicago. I did like it but see no reason to repeat.

This was not what we expected. We wanted a low key "bar" to have a bourbon/scotch and relax. The atmosphere is definitely low key but it was hot in the bar....

Dope hotel, oldschool vibes. Don't wanna pay full price for a 4 star hotel downtown? Don't ! Pay for a shared room, with 2 bunk beds to a room and get a super low rate. Not to mention they have the best hotel staff EVER. They have single rooms of course and VIP if you feel like balling out. Definitely the hotel to be at downtown 💯

Not really a place a middle aged man would typical visit. I definitely did not fit in. But the vibe was positive, the cocktails well prepared, and the bartenders friendly. The music was loud as was the lively conversation. As I said not typical for an old guy, but the people watching was fantastic.

I had the best night at Broken Shaker! Jay is absolutely a delight and makes the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. Jay made us feel at home and was so kind and made our experience truly wonderful. Broken Shaker is such a great and cozy spot with wonderful people working the bar. Highly recommend!!
