Barton G. The Restaurant Chicago - Chicago
Situated on the first two floors of the former Sullivan’s steakhouse in River North is this quirky new attraction. Barton G. The Restaurant, with locations in Miami Beach and Los Angeles (additional outposts are set to open in New York and Las Vegas), describes its concept as a "comfort-food menu of neo-classic American cuisine."
The Chicago space is 12,000 square feet, featuring a private dining area, full bar and lounge. Guests may indulge signature, Instagram-worthy dishes, including BBQ of bones (12-hour beef ribs, lamb riblets, long-bone chicken wings, an elfin corn-wild mushroom skillet with minted yogurt, house BBQ and scallion chimichurri); kobe meatloaf with house-made ketchup, whipped yukon golds and quick fire green beans; whole-grilled
branzino, Asian profiteroles with Thai coconut shrimp filling; and slow-cooked short ribs cooked in red wine with mash potatoes, heirloom carrots and mixed mushrooms.
