Bakers Square - Palatine

Excellent food and the pie was delicious! We has the pleasure of Kathy serving us and she is phenomenal! Her work ethic is exceptional! What a wonderful experience! Thank you so much, Kathy! You're awesome

Have not been to Bakers Square in a long time. I remember when I was a kid I loved their bread sticks. But it sucks they don't sell them anymore. Other then that they have great food for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Plus they have great Pie. Both my Mom and I had the Square 4 meal. Really Really good. Great place for a family gathering.

A lot has changed since they closed the location by my house but the food was good and the staff were nice. Smaller menu though with fewer pie options. At least they still had the French silk though.

Good, but is it my eyes or age, are the pie slices a little thinner now? I seem to remember my piece of French silk pie being a little bigger and quite filling several years back

I placed a pie order (7 slices) at the beginning of the week for a 10 AM delivery on Saturday. We waited 4 hours and phoned to ask where the order was. We were told that the order was for the following Saturday. I am certain that I said the correct date. They then phoned back to say that we would not have to recall in the order and that all the information was saved and they would deliver in 1 hour. We waited 3 hours. Finally we called again and they said that they could not deliver to my address. Where they ever going to phone me to let me know this? I wanted the family to cancel the order but they insisted on picking the order up because it was my birthday celebration. The order arrives and it was 1 slice of pie short and I also was charged the delivery fee. Terrible customer service.

Mom and I are always amazed at how consistently great the food is here ! Always hot, and cooked to order, and the Staff: VERY friendly !! The prices ? SUPERB VALUE for what you get !!! There are usually 3 Servers (INCLUDING the Manager), and they do the best they can, on a Saturday night, and how they keep the place clean, as the Servers have to bus the tables, as well !! They are a great team, and the other Customers seem to understand if they have to wait a little longer. I give this place an honest "5 STARS" !!! Keep up the great work, Staff :) :) Alan

Was driving home from work, so excited to find that there was still a Baker's Square open near me as I had just been talking about it to friends and family about not being able to run and grab slices of pie anymore. I was beyond disappointed to learn my favorite and only reason I stopped there had been discontinued.....BRING BACK BANANA CREAM!!!!!!! Currently searching for place to get decent banana cream pie :(

I went to Baker's Square in Palatine, IL yesterday and got my free slice of birthday pie. I forgot how good the pie is at Baker's Square and was quickly reminded. I will definitely go back and try other items in their menu. The restaurant is really nice and cozy. It was clean and the workers were very polite and friendly. I tried a slice of lemon pie and it was so good. I asked what the difference was between the lemon meringue pie and the other lemon pie (the one I tried) and the worker was able to explain it to me. I love that. I highly recommend.

I love Bakers Square- even if nostalgia plays a huge role in it. Its "that pie place" my gma (rest in peace) and I would always go to when I'd visit from college or living abroad. Then when she couldnt go out, I'd bring it in to her. All of the locations closed by me so we trekked a solid 1.5hrs to get to this one. Service was good, food was yummy and reasonably priced per usual. Picked up a french silk pie to enjoy with the family as a taste of nostalgia on Easter. The pies freeze well. I will always love bakers square. Their four square turned five, too.

Good cod fish, Chicken tenders were over cooked. Sides of rice and fruit were good However, the two pieces pie were outstanding! The restaurant has run with a reduced selection of pie for over a year now. We don't go often here but you always need to get a slice of pie. The restaurant definitely had a relaxed atmosphere.
