Lamb is some of the best in town
During a weekend visit to Springfield, someone we met on the street recommended Augie's. We four had a SUPERB meal while snow blew furiously outside. One in our party has several diet restrictions--no problem: a wonderful, piping hot dinner appeared, made to order. Our lovely server was gracious and attentive.
We were visiting from out of town and decided on this for our late night dinner spot, and so glad we did! The service was excellent and food was amazing. Even though we were still eating and it was almost closing time, we did not feel rushed and the server even offered dessert and coffee once we finished eating. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely place for any meal. All of the food was very fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Highly recommend the lobster bisque. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Our food was out in well under 10 minutes, which is a miracle considering the high quality of the dishes. This place will definitely be a stop the next time I'm in Springfield!
It was a nice little hideaway in the middle of downtown. Parking can be tricky but worth the effort. I had the roasted beet salad with feta cheese and it was delicious. It had an apple cider vinaigrette that I really enjoyed. I would definitely go back!
