Andy's Jazz Club

I always want to love hometown experiences and this one is still one I will recommend with a caveat. Had my out of town team to experience Chicago, booked a dinner. The performance was great and love the vibe! Why I cannot give 5 stars - because our team was told to stop conversing during dinner and be respectful to the performance. It is a dinner, we are sitting around a table eating facing one another. Seemed borderline rude and I will not have a team event there again. Nor would I consider this place unless I don't want to talk to the person with me. That said , love the vibe, loved the Jazz performance.

I mean, where else can you get a jazz show with dinner every night? The doorman was really cool and explained everything about our experience. We were able to get a nice table right at the front, by the band. Unfortunately, my wife didn't like her drink, but drank it anyway. The food though, was quite tasty. The band playing that night was fantastic. Docked a star because our server wasn't the greatest. Never refilled out waters, didn't come back after bringing us our food, etc. Overall a great experience and it wouldn't deter us from coming back

What a great experience. Our table was right in front of the stage. Food was much better than I expected and even better than Signature Room... The jazz band was incredible and the entire family enjoyed the night. Salmon was cooked just right and so was th steak. Drinks were good, too! Service was fast and friendly. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Cover charge of $15 person. Cost for beverages and food was nominal. I won't say it as expensive when compared to similar restaurants in downtown Chicago. Seating capacity of around 115. So it is a small crowd. Please carry some cash to tip the performers. Try to be on time before the performance starts. Each performance will be by different bands so that your experience will be unique.

Great spot. Reminds me of Bakers Keyboard Lounge in Detroit but roomier. Food and service too notch. Now, the music Mario Abney With Abbey Project. Performs well, very entertaining. Jazz fusion music with a nice blend of flavorful tunes you know and nice to hear.Mario has a way of bringing a bit of church like spirited moves to the stage which further brings that good spirit to the groove. All I can say is check it out.

This was my very first live jazz club experience. Andy’s have me super excited to experience more live jazz. This place is very clean and the vibe was freaking dope! The food is out of this world! I just love this spot and I will be back to visit! The employees were very professional and kind. Awesome job Andy’s!!
