Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea - Logan Square

Intelligentsia, one of Chicago's original and most esteemed local coffee roasters, opened this spiffy new location in Logan Square in Spring 2013. The shop is small and incredibly sleek, decorated almost entirely in white, with a map of Chicago on the back wall and an artsy magazine rack on another. The focal point of the cafe is the central coffee bar, where baristas work their magic on pourover coffee and serve up pastries from Floriole Cafe & Bakery. Along with numerous bar stools, the cafe sports a few booths by the front windows.

La Boulangerie

This Logan Square cafe aims to be a traditional 19th-century French bakery. Look for freshly baked baguettes, croissants, country-style loaves, French pastries and sweet and savory crepes.

Big Kids
