Logan Square got another hip new joint in July 2010, serving a small menu of pizza slices and whole pies, craft beers and Jameson whiskey on draft. Specialty cocktails are also worth a try, like the 1988, rum chata, espresso vodka and Absolut vanilla served up with a side of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Lighting, tables and doors are made from reclaimed materials.

Osteria Langhe

Open seven nights a week, Monday is especially busy at this Italian-inspired eatery located in one of Logan Square's most popular dining districts (You'll find Dos Urban Cantina, Giant and Scofflaw nearby). That's because guests may take advantage of the industry-night half-price cocktails that includes authentic Italian aperitifs like the Negroni and spritz.

The Heavy Feather

Located upstairs from Logan Square's Slippery Slope, The Heavy Feather is a decidedly more subdued bar where the focus is squarely on the craft cocktail. The dimly lit, relaxed, and quite lounge features a lengthy bar focused on classic retro cocktails from the folks behind Scofflaw and Sink|Swim.

Bang Bang Pie Shop

The Logan Square bakery specializes in pies with all fresh and all natural ingredients. The pies are made daily and are available whole or by the slice. Bang Bang also cranks out fresh biscuits daily, and there's a biscuit topping bar to accompany: black pepper honey butter, blueberry lavender jam, strawberry butter and chive butter are some of the flavors.
