One Off Hospitality Group Cookbook Dinner With Marcus Samuelsson 

One of the most famous celebrity chefs in the country is headed to one of Chicago’s most popular and respected restaurant groups for a very special occasion. In honor of his new book, The Red Rooster Cookbook: The Story of Food and Hustle in Harlem, chef Marcus Samuelsson will be at Publican Quality Meats with One Off Hospitality Group’s Paul Kahan to serve his famed fried yardbird and other cookbook dishes. Along with a live music performance by Harlem’s The Rakiam Walker Project, the evening will include Henriot Champagne, wine and beer aplenty, taking place between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are $65 per person, inclusive of all food and beverage, and cookbooks will also be available for purchase. 99-Ingredient Bloody Mary Bar at Old Town Social

Here’s a surefire way to jazz up your weekend brunch routine. Old Town Social’s got the Bloody Mary to end all Bloody Marys, thanks to their 99-ingredient Bloody Mary Bar. The new spread contains myriad mixers, brines, house-cured meats and a dizzying variety of optional garnishes. Choose from the likes of housemade pickles, vegetables, more than 25 hot sauces, cheeses, olives, and lots more. The Bloody Mary bar is available Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Fall Cocktail Classes at Elixir Andersonville

Just in time for the holiday season, when the need for alcohol and cocktails is at an all-time high, Elixir Andersonville is preparing to host a few themed cocktail classes to get you prepared. The first event takes place October 29 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., with a focus on apples. Using freshly pressed apple juice to order, the bar will demonstrate the classic apple martini, along with a seasonal riff on the Manhattan. The cost for the class is $25 and tickets can be purchased here. Upcoming classes include a holiday punch event on November 19 and mulled wine on December 17.

The latest happy hour options comes to us from Dos Urban Cantina, one of the most promising new Mexican options in town. Available Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., the promo affords guests an opportunity to sample the restaurant’s acclaimed wares at discount prices. These include specials on margaritas and Mexican beers, plus snacks like chicken wings with chipotle glaze, tamal tots with habanero cream chips and dip with guacamole, roasted tomato salsa and pumpkin seed hummus.

Now you don’t need to wait until weekend brunch to indulge in well-crafted omelettes and hash, thanks to 3 Greens Market’s recently launched weekday breakfast program. Now available from 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. via a breakfast bar of hot and cold dishes, 3 Greens morning items include baked Denver omelettes, potato hash, pork breakfast sausage, maple-glazed bacon, black bean and sweet potato burritos, housemade cinnamon rolls, blueberry Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and more.
