Additionally, Cafe des Architectes and Le Bar will both feature two Normandy booze staples - Cidre Dupont Reserve and Calvados du Pays d'Auge - for the entire month of May. ('Zilla sliders await)
Revolution Brewery Dinner at TWO
Revolution Brewery beers take the stage for a special beer dinner at TWO on May 14 at 6:00 p.m. Combining locally sourced, seasonal cuisine with locally brewed beer, the dinner promises to be locavore-tastic. The five-couse meal features beer pairings with each course, plus gratis Angel's Envy and sake-beer cocktails. Dinner dishes include an ancho-rubbed grilled quail with grilled scallion dirty grits and quail jus paired with A Little Crazy; and housemade bacon sausage with spring vegetable succotash and whipped ricotta alongside Crystal Hero I.P.A. The cost is $65 per person..
Sliders inspired by Godzilla are bound to be good. In honor of the new Godzilla movie, stomping into theaters May 16, Rodan is serving up a killer slider giveaway. Anyone who visits the restaurant and shows their Godzilla ticket stub receives one complimentary 'Zilla slider, a housemade ground beef and longanisa patty with bacon mayo, pineapple slaw, and a toasted Hawaiian bun. Why the Godzilla adoration? Because Rodan gets its name from the fictional monster originated in the 1956 film, Rodan, which began as a Godzilla enemy but went on to become its bestie. These comp sliders are available May 16 and May 17.
