Weekday Planner: Picnic Cocktails at NAHA, Olympics Specials at Latinicity and Wagyu Wednesdays at Rockit Burger Bar

All-American Picnic Cocktails at NAHA

Summertime being picnic season, Amy Starr borrowed inspiration from this all-American pastime for her latest batch of inspired cocktails at NAHA. The new drink list features a variety of picnic-y cocktails such as the Patriot’s Picnic with Old Forester Signature 100-proof bourbon, watermelon, mint and lime; Cornered by the Market with Owney’s NYC rum, Don Ciccio & Figli fennel liqueur, sweet corn and tarragon; As American As… with Clyde Mays Alabama whiskey, Balsam Amaro Americano, and Vander Mill Totally Roasted Cider; and Summer’s Sweet Smoke with Westland single malt whiskey, BroVo Jammy vermouth, and chocolate bitters.

Watch the Olympics at Latinicity

With the Olympics underway through August 21, one of the best places to visit, eat, and watch is Latinicity. Makes sense, considering the food hall’s South and Latin American stylings. For the duration of the Games, Latinicity is featuring limited-edition Caipirinhas along with Brazilian style beef and chicken kebabs at the Saladero food station. The food hall will also be broadcasting the Olympics on all televisions.

Wagyu Burger Upgrade at Rockit Burger Bar

Wednesdays are for Wagyu. So it goes at Rockit Burger Bar, where every Wednesday provides an opportunity for a serious burger upgrade at the Wrigleyville restaurant and bar. Each week, customers have the option to swap out their favorite burger patty for Wagyu at no extra cost from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
