TWO Turns One
For some birthdays, suckling pig is far more apropos than cake. Just as TWO prepares to turn one, the West Town restaurant rolls out a few celebratory specials from August 1 through August 4. Because nothing says "happy birthday" quite like pulled pork and cocktails.
Patrons at TWO will be offered half-priced cocktails and draft beers when they dine within the celebratory window. Chef Tom Van Lente is also going all out with whole hogs, bringing in two suckling pigs from Swan Creek Farms for the occasion. You can't really stick a candle in the hogs, but it's an apt birthday feast nonetheless. Van Lente is smoking said hogs and shredding them for a pulled pork dish with honey butter biscuits and candy onion vinaigrette. Twist my arm. The dish runs for $10, so instead of bringing TWO a birthday present, order this and drink cocktails and beer alongside.
