It sucks when you miss out on brunch because last night’s hangover overpowers your will to get out for scrumptious bites of homestyle biscuits, waffles and pancakes. So lucky for you, several of Chicago’s top brunch spots deliver breakfast straight to your home.

For instance, when it comes to shrimp and grits, Wishbone gets down ‘n’ dirty with cheesy, creamy hominy loaded down with plenty of flavorful crustaceans. But if you want that, plus signature items like smoked beef brisket hash, corn muffins and blackened crawfish cakes, you’ll need to plan a day in advance. You’ll also need to order for a minimum of 15 people, so the next time you host a house party, plan a sleepover so you can take advantage. All Wishbone locations offer the delivery service, including West Loop and Lakeview. Prices range $6.95-$16.95 per person, depending on what you order.

Lincoln Park’s Zig Zag Kitchen kinda offers the same deal, offering brunch delivered to your home for a minimum of six people. Breakfast items with Italian and Mediterranean accents highlight the menu. The restaurant also delivers up to 75 miles outside of city limits, which is unheard of.

Both locations of Feast (Bucktown and Gold Coast) cater to the customer who needs a mega pick me up after a hard night out. You can order absolutely anything off the menu, from the signature “garbage” omelet of bacon, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomatoes, cheddar and pepper jack cheeses to oatmeal pancakes with cinnamon-apple compote, honey-vanilla butter and walnut brittle. Expect, however, to wait a bit as weekends are their busiest times.

For lighter appetites, Feast’s sister restaurant, Goddess & Grocer, also delivers. Favorite menu items include croissant sandwiches, the breakfast burrito and the bacon bagel egg scramble. The Gold Coast and Lincoln Park venues offer the same deal as the original Bucktown store.

Those late risers in West Town should be happy to know that Bleeding Heart Bakery & Cafe also delivers brunch straight to your door. You’ll have to wait until 2pm, however, for bites of vegan biscuits and wild mushroom gravy; an herbed waffle topped with braised pork belly and a fried egg; or the Veruca Salt waffles with salted caramel mousse and vanilla bean anglaise. All items deliciously under $13.
