Went on Sunday, and was happy to be able to sit outside. The beer selection is pretty amazing, wine selection pretty sparse. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich, while not totally authentic, it was delicious -- well seasoned, crispy and I totally enjoyed every bite. I would have given them 5 stars but service was pretty slow for American standards -- if I was in Hong Kong or Fiji, it would be have been appropriate. In the U.S., I'm not used to waiting an hour for a sandwich. Over all, I'll be back, just anticipating slow service.
I ordered the Baja shrimp tacos which I enjoyed. Wish it had a bit more sauce and fresher limes but overall tasted good. The hubs got the Jambalaya (not pictured) which is his go to and that was phenomenal. Highly recommend it. The restrooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. It's a great place to meet up with friends/family for dinner, enjoy good food and catch up.
Attended dinner service on a busy, full-house evening, still served with generous attention by Mitchell. New additions to entree recipe's were shared with my date and I from the owner, or manager. I think when the boss comes out onto the floor to check in with customers one-by-one, its a good sign. But ultimately, the reason I write my 5 star review of this Yard House now, having frequented many times before with many 5 star experiences, was the service from Mitchell, who really made our date great.
Great beer selection. Average food at best. Poke nachos are very good. Nashville hot chicken is pretty good. Street tacos are good. Service is very slow. The place is way too dark. The music is way too loud. With the number of people in the place and the volume of the music it's hard to have a conversation.
Great food, as always! So many chain restaurants (even the high end ones) serve the same 'slightly better than average' food at premium prices, making the experience disappointing when you see the bill ($100+ for family of four, no alcohol). But yardhouse never disappoints. Top notch food, good beer list.
