Wiener and Still Champion

Great old school hot dog venue in Evanston. Absolutely the best french fries in the area. Better then Five Guys. The place is small and dirty, but the food is made to order and top notch. Due to the fact that the place is pretty grungy, I almost always take my food to go. Cheap prices keep people coming back.

While the hot dog and fries were good, it took a ridiculous amount of time to get our food, even though the place was not at all busy on a Sunday afternoon. And the place is absolutely filthy. Don't look at the floor while you are eating. Don't believe all the hype. This place should be avoided.

This place is gross inside. The service was nothing to talk about. I had a burger and it was greasy and underdone and the bun got soggy really quickly. The soda machine is dusty and the cups smell weird. I found a hair in my fries....i will never go back again.

Amazing dive. Best fries in living memory and I like my fries. Hot Dog with small fry is a great deal, with our without chili/cheese. Place is something of a dump, looks shoddy but is reasonably clean.

Great, greasy, fried food, cheap prices & huge portions. I would suggest adding deep-fried cheese curds to the menu. On the downside, the place is a dump and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years! For how much publicity this place gets, you'd think it would be clean & updated. I would be embarrassed if I was the owner!
