Ukrainian Village residents were pretty bummed out when innovative brunch spot Jam relocated to Logan Square. Two restaurant/bar vets want to fill that void with Whisk, which serves brunch and what they're calling a burger bar at night. During brunch, you'll find sweet or savory dishes like salted caramel pancakes and Cajun omelets with cheese grits. In the evening, Whisk transforms into the burger bar, where you may "build your own" or order from 10 choices.
It's also BYOB, and what sets Whisk apart from others is that their craft sodas (think elderflower lemonade, butterscotch root beer) pair well with vodka, gin and/or tequila.
