One of the oldest family-owned retail bakeries, Weber was founded by German immigrant Erich Weber in 1930 at 45th and Kedzie. Today, his grandson Michael still bakes according to the Old World methods. All breads, cakes and pastries are baked fresh daily without preservatives at this location, where the bakery has been housed since 1979.
