Volo Restaurant Wine Bar has one of the best hidden patios in Chicago. Amazing wine menu and delicious pairings. Not to mention the intimate setting that offers you and your date some privacy. Love the food and vibes here. Highly recommend!

Had the loveliest experience at Volo Wine Bar in Roscoe Village! My friend and I were seated at one of the cabanas in the back patio area (very romantic!!) and had a lovely view of the restaurant, lights, and a gorgeous little fountain surrounded by flowers. We ordered spritzes to start, and they were delicious! We also ordered unique and lovely glasses of wine…I can’t remember the last time I saw orange wine on a menu, and it is one of my favs! For food, we ordered olives to start, and got the vegan cauliflower/chickpea entree and the salmon. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our server was also so lovely and helpful, and the owner even came by to greet us and tell us about the history of the restaurant. 10/10, highly recommend this neighborhood gem! :)

This is the spot for a beautiful and romantic date night! So many different wine options along with an extensive selections of sharable plates, delicious seafood and exquisite choice of proteins. We also loved the decadent flourless chocolate cake with a light zinfandel to end the evening. Also, did I mention the ambience of this place?! They have a hidden patio which is one of the nicest ones I've ever been to in Chicago. So don't hesitate and let the team at Volo along with their lovely owner John take you on a fabulous journey!

This is my go to for Nepali food and Bernal Heights is a great place to walk and shop all the food here has wonderful floral notes to it without being flowery. This is my second time here and I think the entree that they have set for 2 people is the way to go more then enough and if anything left overs. Very nice staff and knowledgeable about the cooking process will go again and suggest anyone in the area to stop by for $50-60.00 (without drinks) this is a great food experience.

Lovely little place with very tasty food and great service. We got veggie samosas, the mushroom curry a la carte, and the mustard leaf curry combo. The food was delicious, satisfying, and hearty, and it was not greasy at all like other restaurants. Their mint chutney (comes w samosa) and creamy tomato chutney (comes w combo) were clearly made from scratch and tasted fantastic.

My husband and I came here for restaurant week, and we left completely satisfied. We had an early reservation, so we came just in time for happy hour and enjoyed sangria to start which was both strong and delicious! The choices for dinner were lovely. We loved the potato croquettes and found it to be so flavorful, the duck was cooked to perfection and we ate every single bite, and the flourless chocolate cake was rich. We would love to come back again to try the other food in the menu as this place is super close to where we live!
