Just found this spot a few months ago for pre-Blackhawks food and drinks and love it. The huge parking lot is a big plus as is the free shuttle. It makes it very convenient to get to and from games and the crowd/shuttle ride is full of cheery Blackhawks fans which makes it fun as well. Oh, you can bring your drinks on the shuttle if you haven't finished them as well.
They have a good amount of beers on tap even though I typically stick the to bud light buckets when I know I'll be throwing them back all night. At $15, they're very reasonable for the West Loop area.
I can only speak on the steak nachos when it comes to food. They were fantastic, however, and came completely loaded (almost to the point where there was too much steak if there is such a thing) with perfectly cooked and seasoned, sliced steak. I'm used to bar nachos that come with ground steak that is gone after a third of the chips are eaten. I kid you not, these nachos are buried in meat. With that being said I have had others in my party get burgers, wings, etc. and said those were good as well but I have yet to convince myself to stray from the steak nachos.
The service is typically very good although they do get busy an hour or so before the game (people taking advantage of the shuttle) so it helps to order your drink when you have a few sips left to give the waitress some time. I thought this was common knowledge when at a busy bar. The food on the other hand comes out 10 minutes after ordering which is really nice if your trying to sneak in a quick bite before leaving for the game.
Lastly, I can't speak to the management before a few months ago, but I have seen the owner every time I've been in there and he always recognizes me and takes a few minutes to make sure my party and I are enjoying ourselves and encourages us to keep coming back. you can tell he really appreciates repeat customers and wants to keep them coming back.
