Really enjoyed my evening here! Perfect for a girls night. The cheese and meats were delicious, the sever was helpful in explaining the menu as well. Was very happy with everything, the plating and preparation of the food felt very intentional. Used it as a pre-dinner meal and I think I would do that again, or come back for lunch to eat more. The board was so carefully curated and paired for us. (Extras like nuts and onion jam were so tasty!). 1/2 off bottles of wine during winter Monday’s was a great plus for our party as well! Smaller space, I’d recommend getting a reservation just to be sure you can be seated. Bathrooms were super cute, loved the cozy vibes for a winter evening.
When I tell you I have dreams about their green monster salad…hands down the freshest, yummiest salad I’ve found in the area. Also the dressing?! Delicious. The servers here are totally wonderful, making the experience that much better. Coffee is worth trying too!
The Frenchie - house-cured ham, country pork pate, brie, Dijon mustard, cornichon mayo all on a baguette 🥖 and Head Cheese and Pork Terrine on the side was my late lunch at Lardon. The Head Cheese was my favourite of the two. The sandwich was generously filled and packed with flavour. I have wanted to feast at Lardon for a long time. The charcuterie offerings alone are worth the visit. They’re all cured and prepped on-site. It’s a meal you won’t regret.
Excellent spot in Logan Square for casual dining. Lardon's charcuterie and cured measts are absolutely fantastic. Perfect blend of salty meat & marble fat-melts in your mouth! The spicy sausage was delicious. Their cheeses are also great! Great quality, but not overly pricey. All chef selections were on point! The Ruben sandwich was also yummy. Good balance of salty and funky. The rye bread was thick and perfect toasted. Those house made potato chips though! So crunchy! Excellent place for lunch! I'll be back, for sure!!
Aside from having a table inside they also have outdoor dining. It was good to sit here by evening so it was not hot and the view was pretty nice. You can also smell the fresh air and feel the cold breeze outside. When I came here I tried their Chief Boards. The serving was dependent on your choice. On my board it has 3 slices of bread, cheese, nuts, sauce, grapes, white cheese, a slice of apple, dried grapes, bacon, salmon, a slice of pie and a slice of sausage. It was perfect for my morning breakfast. It was good and I enjoyed eating them. Well I come here again. I highly recommend this restaurant. I gave this 5 stars rating.
