After much success with the quirky hot dog-themed Franks 'n' Dawgs, Alexander Brunacci is on to his second venture. This time he's featuring offbeat meats in gyros; think baby octopus, duck, or venison. Additionally, he'll do a menu of house-made sausages, duck wings and the signature lobster roll from Franks 'n' Dawgs.

Love this place! Food is amazing! A neighborhood gem! I've only been for brunch - but everything is so delicious and fresh. It's not your standard brunch menu, it's a little more unique, but still has your staple options. If you're looking for really great food and drinks and a cool atmosphere, I highly recommend The Peasantry over nearby Yolk. The service can occasionally be on the slower side, but all the staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to trying their dinner menu sometime soon.

I never know what to expect here, but it never disappoints. Kangaroo tacos, beef Wellington, beet salad, classic burger, pork tenderloin, duck tenders... Everything they come up with tastes amazing, and it's all creative. Prices are fair, drinks are delicious and ever-rotating. I love this spot so much.

I went here on New Year's Day for brunch with a group of 7. The food was amazing and the waiters were pleasant and helpful. It was the first day for our min waiter I believe, but he did great. My boyfriend and I split the duck tenders and waffles (heavenly) and the salmon benedict (also delicious). I tried the swine skillet, which was good, but nothing special. Their drinks sounded tasty, but we didn't try any. We will definitely be back.

The owner of this super casual, yet gourmet place is a great source of knowledge on street foods of the world. His concept is clear - he takes common street foods and makes them gourmet, while still keeping it all comfortable for anyone who enjoys great food. He sat at the bar with my husband and I and took the time to describe the menu options and picked a great bottle of wine to accompany our meal - one of our new favorites!!

Favorite place in Chicago. Everything on their menu is about interesting and as good as food can get. Don't get fooled by the (seemingly small) serving size... the food is really rich. The owner and staff are very particular about providing the best overall experience they can every time you walk through the door. Definitely go on an off-day because it packs up fast!
