Come for the chocolate & cheese, arm yourself with at least $50 per plate. Turn down anything else, especially the prix faire style meals that include oil fondue. Wait staff was top notch and very patient & accommodating. The place is nice. Let's get that out of the way. Nice lighting, seating, ambiance, etc. The service is top notch. There are intimate place settings for 2, and I saw tables & benches set up for groups of 6 or more. The cheese fondue was excellent, with the server giving us instruction & suggestion along the way. The main course consisted of a variety of raw meats, including lobster, sushi-grade tuna, and filet mignon. However I'm convinced that oil bath is not the way to cook these meats to bring out their flavor-- instead, they came out largely under- or over-cooked and carrying the flavors of the oil additives. Not a great flavor for such fine meats. Finally the dessert course with chocolate fondue and including strawberries, bananas, and red velvet cake cubes. Very good, of course. The price of the full meal, and the iffy quality of the finished main course, dictate that this be a treat out for a cheese meal/appetizer and/or dessert course on a progressive.
