South Barrington's The Lucky Monk is about burgers, pizza and beer. There's also a pool table, a foosball table and 13 HD TVs. More than 30 beers feature, including house-brewed, local craft-brewed drafts and other handcrafted beers and ales.

Everything was delicious. We celebrated a belated birthday for my boyfriend and I only actually put that in the reservation, the staff still made sure to bring him out dessert without me even saying anything, it was beyond sweet. The burgers were super fresh and the beer flight was worth it. Overall the ambiance was great and even though it was a Friday night, service was spectacular from Angel, there was no wait for the food at all and the restaurant was full. Just recently found out they have happy hour so it will definitely be a regular spot.

Superb place for drinks and food. The burgers were amazing and their NEIPA was put of the world. $9 for flight of 6 (4oz) each. Cant beat that. Burgers were about $18-20. Kind of expensive but the quality was amazing. Made just right. Good selection on kids menu as well. The place was super busy in Thursday eve but the service was still pretty fast. Will definitely go back.

I visit this place, at least 2 to 3 times a year. In summer months they have a beautiful outdoor patio with fire, inside of the brewery is beautifully designed. Great place to catch your favorite sport with the fully stocked bar or the freshly brewed beer. The menu is simple but the food is delicious. They offer plenty of options for vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but they told us they didn't have much for house taps which is why we came. We ordered 2 apps, the curds and pickles. Both were great. My partner got a burger medium, his was cooked perfect. I got one as well but my medium was very raw. Chili was great!

What an adorable little restaurant. From the barrels on the walls to the fancy ceiling lamps. My date and I LOVED our food (which is saying something, my girl is a picky eater! LOL). The service was great from our server Ava. She was very helpful helping me pick between 2 tasty options on the menu! Having someone always there to check in on us and the delicious food earned 5 big bright stars from this lad!
