Taco Joint - Chicago
Edgar Castañeda's Taco Joint capitalizes on the popularity of Mexican street food, and it's done so well that he's opened a third location. It's situated on the fourth level of shopping paradise The Shops at North Bridge, in River North and the Magnificent Mile.
The menu features all-natural braised and grilled meats, hand-pressed tortillas and from-scratch salsas. The concept is fast casual, with offerings such as tacos (barbacoa; yucatan pulled pork; al pastor; ceviche; cauliflower al pastor), soup, salad and bowls (tortilla soup; taco joint salad; Mexican rice bowl; barbacoa bowl), plates (taco dinner; tamales; combination platter), sides and extras (street corn; rice n' beans; queso n' chips; guacamole; chips n' salsa; churro donut holes).
The location is booze free, offering only non-alcoholic beverages.
