Supreme Frozen Products Factory Store - Chicago
Founded at Chicago and Washtenaw in 1950 and now in the Belmont-Cragin neighborhood, this family-owned company is best known for "The Chicago Tamale," a paper-wrapped yellow cornmeal shell encasing ground beef flavored with garlic and seven secret spices. The tamales,
made in small batches with no preservatives, are widely sold in retail stores around Chicago, as well as from the factory.
