Shake Shack

Shake shack has a long and Rich history, quite literally starting out as a shack right outside Central Park in New York, it has expanded into a fast food empire. Truly the epitome of humble beginnings, yet I can't help but feel it was so much better back then. Now a burger is half as filling and costs twice as much, which typing it out makes me sound like a boomer, but comparing it to just a few years ago I still think it holds true. The taste is great, however it is simply overrated and small.

Very solid experience, food was made fast and delicious and customer service was nice all while being a pretty busy late night. What I also enjoyed was watching the workers talk and laugh with themselves but still doing their job efficiently, I’ve worked in the food industry for years now and it shows they enjoy their job enough and they know what they’re doing in there. Hit this shake shack up

Just now had little bite before seeing movie. When I walked in I was hesitant to stay from observing their crew, see pic for example, but I was hungry for a burger. The cashier was pleasant,he originally rang in wrong sandwich ( see pic of receipt) , but redid it when I noticed higher price. Maybe he was new? The sandwich was tasty, but more than likely won't be back. You eat with your eyes too, and must feel confident the people making your food are careful, and eager to keep their job. ...update....aug.24 2022.….after this review shake shack reached out via email and offered a code to get a free meal. I appreciate their effort, but unfortunately to be able to redeem it you could only order online (which meant I had to register a bank card/credit card) for payment even tho I wouldn't owe any money. I don't feel comfortable doing that. I'm paranoid ,and don't want my money info on the web. Oh, well 🤷

We just made it under the wire at 11 pm. Hot dog and fries were great! Lemonade was good, but no ice. Won't count that as was near closing time, but no relish for my hotdog; nope, can't give that a pass.

Has the chicken sandwich. Very very good. My husband got the burger and was very impressed. The cashier was super friendly and advised us to get small drinks as they provided free refills. He was an older gentleman and very good at his job. The younger girls on the line who gave me my refill, was not as friendly. They were mostly interested in each other, rather than their customers.

Shake shack never lets me down. The food is always impeccable and absolutely delicious. As a vegetarian, it's nearly impossible to find a burger that isn't either a black bean burger or an impossible burger, but their shrooms burger changed the playing field. The best part about it is that it's the perfect size along with fries. If I go out with friends, we split a shake, which by the way is heavenly. Lots of times you overeat because the portion size is huge or they give too many fries, but shake shack gives the perfect amount of everything. Definitely worth a visit.

Need I say more?? Awesome burger, cheese fries are so yummy! Next time I'll order the cheese on the side, just to make them easier to eat. Only ding is...

The shroom burger is magical. It is easily in the top 5 best veggie burgers I've ever had, and separately possibly the best mushroom dish I've ever had. It has the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, mushroom, and tomatoes - both for texture and flavor. The "patty" is super crisp, but not uncomfortably so. Went two days in a row on a short trip it was so good.
