Well, I can definitely say that this was an underwhelming experience for me at Seasons 52 in Oak Brook. I had scoped the menu ahead of time, and was...
We celebrated a birthday at Seasons 52 and they went all out for us from a champagne toast, birthday card,a dessert and a red rose. For appetizers we had...
The food was delicious. I had the pork chop w/crab polenta. They both were very flavorful and the pork was cooked perfectly. Our waiter Mike was very nice....
Solid food, friendly/attentive staff. Menu changes seasonally. Cookie cutter corporate chain. You know what your gonna get and it will be tasty but nothing...
We had a great family evening at Seasons 52. In general we found the food fantastic. For starters we had the meatballs and the pepperoni flatbread, which was a perfect amount for each of our seven to get a tasty bite while we waited on our meals. My son and I ordered the salmon, and the waitress quickly recommended we get it blackened. It was a great recommendation, it was delicious. The pork chop and the shrimp and grits were well liked. The butternut squash gnocchi was good, but not the best we've had, and my son-in-law said the lamb was a bit overcooked. We ordered one of each of the five sides they had available that night, and enjoyed all of them. If we look for things to improve, we would have all liked a little brighter lighting - just a little - and the tables slightly further apart. Overall it was a high recommend. With a bottle of wine and a nice tip for very good service it came out to exactly $400 for seven people.
