Pinstripes - South Barrington

My latest visit was yesterday and we tend to come here every couple of months and have had a few parties here as well. Overall it's pretty good, the place is always clean and well kept. Food is usually pretty good. I did notice this visit that the Prime Run sandwich is noticeably smaller than in the past along with coating more. I understand what's going on but charging me more for less isn't great. In addition whatever they are giving as ketchup definitely isn't what most people would consider ketchup, looks and tastes more like pasta sauce than ketchup. But probably the biggest thing for me is the taste of the soda here. You can taste the well water flavor in it and it's the biggest disappointment as I don't drink but love Mountain Dew so I always get it but it has this funky taste from the well water. I'm sure we'll be back because my wife loves the place but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, if they at least fixed the soda taste I might be included to come more often. Note the picture of the sandwich, I have already eaten 1/2 of it, just for perspective.

The cheesecake was ah-mazing!!! From presentation to taste, so good. Now on to the rest of the stuff: met a friend for lunch, they have wifi so good to know because we needed it for our laptops. Ordered bruschetta for apps, and I ordered a cheeseburger. I didn't realize the home made pickles would be sweet, ew. Now I know for future orders. Staff was great, attentive and super nice all around.

I hosted my sons 2nd birthday at Pinstripes oakbrook today (all seasons patio) and I am truly so grateful to Dani (my event coordinator), Nick (manager on site) and our servers for all their hard work on my event. The customer service was absolutely exceptional, the amount of compliments we got on the service from our guests was so refreshing to hear. Dani and our whole working staff really were all so amazing to work with and really made this day memorable for us. The food— Amazing, amazing, amazing. For the entree we chose to do the pasta station which was so fun for the guests and it tasted so good!! Dani also made the whole planning process such a breeze for me and really listened to all the questions and concerns I had. I would 10/10 recommend. I was so extremely happy with my experience and will definitely be hosting another event here in the future. Thank you Dani & team!

Certainly is a fun place to go. Food is well above average. I had the lasagna and it was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. Bocce ball was interesting as well.

First time ever coming here and more than likely the last. I would say the alley was pretty slow for a 5:45 start time. The service was sub par and that’s being generous. We asked for drinks a few times and waited 15-20 minutes for canned beverages. I get we are not the only people playing, but being reminded about drinks on multiple occasions doesn’t sit well with me. The lane we were on had multiple occasions of the ball being stuck. I first asked the server to have someone come and fix it, 10 minutes went by and not a person in sight. I then got up and asked for someone myself and it was resolved, just to then get stuck 2 throws later. The place is very clean and would be an ideal spot for a date night, however I don’t think I could sit there hoping for the best and getting the same result.
