Photo's Hotdogs - Mount Prospect

Photo's offers a something-for-everyone menu including chili cheese dogs, char-Polishes, Italian beefs, wraps, quesadillas, chopped salads, chili and soups, as well as shakes, malts, floats and desserts. The chicken breasts for sandwiches are marinated for four days in a mixture of oil, lemon juice and oregano. Kids, teens and Saturday customers get free ice cream. This Mount Prospect location also serves beer and wine. The hot dog includes sliced tomato, chopped onion, mustard and pickle but departs from the classic with dull-green relish and a slightly soft skinless Vienna Beef dog, adding a crisp cucumber slice for crunch. Palatine patrons get seedless buns, though Mount Prospect customers receive traditional poppyseed Mary Anns. The shoestring fries are nice and crispy. Photo's also makes an excellent burger of the thin, flat variety, which gets a good char outside while remaining still pink inside, under a dressing of mayo, ketchup, red onions, tomatoes, lettuce and sweet pickles.
