Pelago

Located in Chicago’s Gold Coast just steps off Michigan Avenue and surrounded by the most prestigious stores and residences, PELAGO is quietly nestled in the Hotel Raffaello. With years of experience in hospitality, their staff will be ‘at your service’ seven days a week for lunch and dinner. The Family Mauro and Kimberly met in New York City when her architecture firm moved in next door to the restaurant where Mauro was Executive Chef. Their daughter, Alessandra, was born in 2003 and after several years of tough work schedules they both realized that if they could do anything they would spend time together with Alessandra and travel. In 2007, they sold both their businesses and left New York to do just that. Now after their family sabbatical they are very happy to have relocated to Chicago to open PELAGO.
