Osteria Langhe

Osteria Langhe - Chicago

Open seven nights a week, Monday is especially busy at this Italian-inspired eatery located in one of Logan Square's most popular dining districts (You'll find Dos Urban Cantina, Giant and Scofflaw nearby). That's because guests may take advantage of the industry-night half-price cocktails that includes authentic Italian aperitifs like the Negroni and spritz.

But there's so much more that's bringing diners to the tables at Osteria Langhe. It's the food, of course, and Cameron Grant's menu has been heavily inspired by the Piedmont region.

Everything's slow cooked--for optimum flavor--and house-made such as the pasta and sauces. Signature dishes include the hand-pinched ravioli with a touch of thyme and butter sauce as well as a daily risotto offering. The plin is so popular, in fact, that guests may take a 10-ounce container of frozen pasta to go. Priced at $19, it comes with cooking instructions.

Every Tuesday diners may come in for the three-course, prix-fixe menu priced at $38 per person. It's a good idea to arrive early for half-price cocktails during happy hour (5:30-7pm Tuesday through Thursday) at the bar.
