Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria - Mount Prospect

Had the rehearsal dinner there for my son and new daughter in-law October 7 and the food was awesome as usual. We got a mix of pizzas, salads and appetizers . The main waiter was very attentive and friendly and went way beyond in his service . Kudos to him and the rest of staff who delivered our food in a timely fashion. They all deserve a raise!! Nothing had flavor. The pizza was dry and without flavor. It had a crisp crust covered with cornmeal. Zero sauce. Chicken that could have been tofu. $14 Then there was my chicken avocado and bacon wrap. Again zero taste. No I don't have Covid either. It was filled with half chopped lettuce. Generic chicken breast bits of avocado and bacon that didn't taste like real bacon. $15 Service was good and the restaurant ambiance was nice but the food was some of the worst I've had in a long time.

This location is awesome in every aspect (well -1 thing) they don’t even AC, there’s 1 ceiling fan in the middle of the restaurant and 2-3 fans at the bar. We celebrated 2 of our friends b-day yesterday and we were sweating bullets because they either don’t have any Air Conditioning or pale simple refused to turn it on when we ALL asked. Food is amazing, had a few pizzas, lots of appetizers, drinks were awesome as well. For the lovely young lady and the other younger lady she was training, thank you sooooooo much for an amazing experience. Sorry you had to put up with almost 100 hungry peeps while keeping a smile of your face and train the other young lady. The manager (red shirt?) does lack customer service skills, perhaps you should train her a tad what it takes to be very attentive, patient and kind. Ah and your nails 💅 were sooo pretty to. All together a stellar experience. Most of our friends were outta town, thank you for making sure we ALL had a great experience. Wish I took more pics, hopefully next time.

Sitting here for a freaking hour & still no food ! & the place is dead ! Will never come back to this location ! Talk about being hangry ! Update ...... Had...

Top tier customer service. The food was delicious, well spiced and hot. I had the potato and cheese pierogi with a side of asparagus. I would readily go again. Very affordable as well.

Good food, a bit pricey, wonderful wait staff, and good atmosphere. Pizza has great flavor and crust, but rather shy on the cheese. Calamari is very good and the banana cake is a winner for dessert.

We visited Chicago and had to try an authentic deep dish pizza. This was literally the best pizza I’ve ever had!! Cozy but fun atmosphere and very friendly workers!! The some fireplace was a nice touch!

Enjoyed the food. Had coconut fried onions for appetizer. Then two types of pizzas. Thin and deep dish. Both were made excellent. The pizza had a homemade taste and feel. Service was excellent, helpful to find our way through the menu and offered suggestions.

Great food, great service. Place is dark and noisy, but still a great atmosphere. Excellent pizzas, burgers, salads, and pasta. Worth a visit.
