TL;DR; This hotel more of a HOSTEL, than a HOTEL. It has single rooms, with a queen-sized bed, alongside shared rooms with multiple people. Rooms are at most 40 square feet with a 15 inch TV. Room smells awful, musty, and sweaty….like a hostel. Desk is about 2 feet wide. Check in - person at the desk seemed to disappear every hour for about 20 minutes. Myself, and other guests, waited 30 minutes with no one at the desk to check in at 7pm. B/c it’s a hostel, each person ahead of you takes ~10 mins for check-in. They manually type in their vaccination card details, and verbally run through every rule of shared rooms, shared kitchen, the lounge. Walls are paper thin. The only redeeming quality is the location is great. The price is wildly expensive for what you’re getting.

Excellent location. Great coffee, purified water, and a kitchen so you can stay and save money at least on breakfast. Next door to several clubs that only open on weekends so not chaotic during the week. The convince stores target and cvs are located on the block. The room was great for a shared room with bunk beds. The mattress was good and clean sheets. The design in the lobby is lovely and you are close to the train and subway.

Honestly it's a very chic hotel with some great bars and food options right on the block. Plus it's very affordable so you are getting much more than the price leads you to belive. Front desk service was nothing but professional, and I would love to stay here again next time in the windy city.

Wish I would have found this place earlier ! I HAVE traveled all across the United States and three foreign countries SO I AM NOT EASILY IMPRESSED. the FOUND Hotel THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED me ! the Thought that went into the design and decor is AWESOME. THE OWNERS SHOULD BE ( and I know they are ) PROUD of their hotel. IF there IS ANYTHING ( nasty ) there, it IS Because OF the GUEST and THEIR NASTY HABITS ! Kudos to Housekeeping FOR Having to CLEAN behind people and THEIR nasty habits. you Want LUXURY ? GO pay $300 & up a night for it. WHY IS the FOUND Hotel worth the stay ? ,* Because James " Doc " Hodges says so !!!

Small private rooms that are expensive for the size and lack of in-room amenities. The huge private bathroom was about as large as the main room! Although no microwaves or fridges in the rooms, there is a nicely equipped shared kitchen just past the lobby. Most of the staff is super friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Sarah who was extremely helpful with a reservation mix-up upon checking-in.

DO NOT STAY HERE! One, it was extremely overpriced for the small room. I stayed in a twin bunk bed with a family member, which was fine, but they only gave us a lumpy pillow a piece. When we asked for more pillows plural, they only gave us one. The guy who checked us in was rude, but the lady the next morning was nice. The first night was fine, but the second night was HORRIBLE. For starters, the hotel is connected to a bar that plays horrible club music. The walls and floors are super thin so you can hear and feel the bass of the music all night long. Now if you like to party until 3 a.m., then ignore this review. If that wasn't bad enough, once we finally got to sleep despite the music, the fire alarm went off because of the club. The person working told us it was either a smoke machine or someone smoking near the smoke alarm set it off. All of us in the hotel had to wait outside at 12:30 a.m. for the fire department to come and shut off the alarm. But, the club wasn't forced to evacuated, even though it was their fault for the alarm. I have stayed at a lot of hotels, and this is probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had for the price. The reviews are extremely misleading for the hotel, so hopefully this helps a traveler who just wants to sleep at normal hours.

Will not be returning. Front desk/reception was fine. Lobby area was cute. We had a private room with a queen bed. We were looking for a simplistic room, with a good price, in a decent location. Found appeared to fit the bill based on everything we saw online. However, the room was not very clean. We expected basic, simple, minimalistic…but we didn’t expect it to be dirty. The bedding was clean, but the floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed all week. Baseboards were really gross and there was candy and stuff on the floor near the head of the bed. This place definitely needs a deep clean. The wooden bed platform was so noisy…with every move it sounded like the frame was about to give way—not relaxing, and definitely not for a romantic getaway (if ya know what I mean). The walls are paper thin. Some dude was on the phone early in the morning with the other caller on speakerphone and I could hear every word of their conversation. It felt as if he was in our room it was so loud…also made me feel like we had zero sense of privacy if I could hear other guests so loudly. Location was okay, but I was really disappointed with our decision to stay at this budget hotel. I’m genuinely confused by the positive reviews.

READ BEFORE STAYING All the reviews and price looked great at first. The morning person Sara was awesome honestly but the room was not what we were expecting. The bathroom door was being held up with zip ties 🤨 Not sure where someone found that to be safe but the door was very heavy and hard to move so had it broke it could injure someone heavily. Next our lamp on the bed was broken and dangling and again, a hazard considering there was exposed wire. Also, our bed was broken. It did not sit right on the “frame” that was broken and just leaning against the wall. We also did not have a privacy latch over our door because that was also broken and missing. To top it off, when we called the front desk (during the evening shift) to get 2 extra pillows because the ones we were given were completely flattened out, the night crew stated, “each room has extras pillows that are located under the bed in the drawers.” After playing with drawers on a broken bed for 5 minutes, no pillows were to be found. I call the desk again and explain how the extras for the room are not there, can we get 2 extra? Her response, “Well the ones that are extra for that room are supposed to be there. So if they aren’t im sure we don’t have extra. But I’ll go check and call you back but I’m sure we don’t have any.” Never received a call back nor the extra pillows meant for the room originally. Icing on the cake for this stay was the fact that the heating chandelier in the entry way was going during our entire stay, in 80 degree weather. So every time you walked in or out if felt like a sauna. Needless to say, next time we will spring the extra $70 and stay on the Michigan mile (20 minute walk from Found hotel) and have a much better room.

Found is in a fantastic location. I stayed here for business and was able to get around Chicago easily without a car. I stayed in a private queen room on the third floor. The room was modestly sized but sufficient for my needs. The shower was a highlight of my stay. It provided great water pressure and space. The staff was very friendly and professional. They were able to answer all my questions and even provide helpful guidance during my stay. It is worth pointing out that the room I stayed in was a little louder than I expected. I could hear people walking past in the hall and people in other rooms when they coughed or laughed. The noise was not an issue for me but could prove problematic for a light sleeper. I would stay here again because of the location and rates. I would even recommend this location to anyone who can handle a little noise during the night and does not expect a large room during their stay.

To start with this place is located at a stunning location. Everything is within walking distance or the metro is right next. Rooms are cleaned and maintained very well. The staff is really helpful. They also have kitchens, storage, and everything you can't think of for the price you pay. Great value for money.
