This bar has more personality than most Chicago bars. It gives the first impression of a dive, but then gives way so much more in its nook and crannys. There’s so much randomness alone that allows a visit. I can officially designate this an an ESSENTIAL Chicago bar

I've probably been to Lilly's 5 or 6 times and had a unique yet amazing experience each time. Great staff, variety of live music in an intimate atmosphere. One of my favorite places in Chicago.

Lilly’s Bar gave me some of my very first artist residencies when I was still in music school, finding my sound and starting to be a bandleader. Really appreciate how this space supports young artists and tries to keep their doors open to the ever-evolving music tapestry of Chicago music. All my love to Lilly and her staff.
