If you want authentic Mexican food don’t go here. They don’t even have green salsa or horchatas. My meal was ridiculously expensive and the food lacked flavor, was very greasy, and overall not worth the money. Although the food wasn’t great, the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and it seems like they have great drinks. Our bill ended up being $100 for 3 taco dinner meals and an appetizer!

Las Fuentes was the perfect place for my birthday celebration, working with Daniel was an absolute delight! The food and drinks were great. Service was wonderful too! We will definitely return soon!

My favorite margaritas and Mexican food in Chicago! I love their Especial margaritas and I always get their molcajete! Must try!! Great ambiance and service.

TL;DR: Don’t go. Since everything started opening up again, this has been the worst service I’ve received in the Chicago restaurant scene. Don’t count on a patio reservation actually being honored- we got sat street side. As for service: 4/5 meals were delivered, 60% of drinks were made correctly. Budget in plenty of time for dinner- our first round took 20 minutes to arrive, and 2nd round took over 30. The owner clearly does not care that he is running an inefficient restaurant; given the mistakes and the 2.5 hours spent at the restaurant (1.5 to get food ordered and delivered), we refused the entire amount of the bill, and hardly got anything taken off. I recommend you do the same if you choose to eat here, but I more highly recommend to find another average Mexican restaurant in Chicago

Nice location, but terrible wait times - The venue is nice and we were seated immediately since we reserved a table. However, it took about 15 minutes for our waiter to take our order. We eventually left the restaurant after waiting over 75 minutes for our food after our order was taken. It wasn’t just our table. In the time we had sat down a family next to us had ordered and finished multiple drinks before we arrived. Once sat down, they eventually got their food, finished it, chilled for a while, boxed their meal, left, another party took their spot, they got their drinks and chilled while we were still waiting for our meal. It is a good spot to have drinks and chill, perhaps not ideal to get food.

HORRIBLE 😣 EXPERIENCE , I took a friend for dinner to “impress” her with this restaurant as I have been there before and had a great experience.. TONIGHT was terrible , the waiters were RUSHING US OUT! the website says they closed at 11 pm on Saturday, we arrived around 9:15 pm we didn’t even enjoyed ANYTHING, all the food was served in a RUSH and the waiter was TIRED and he LACKED in service !! He even took my napkin! The waiter and I think it was one of the managers keep REMOVING the plates from the table .. while we were still eating !!! We were RUSHED OUT before 10 pm , MY FRIEND WAS SO DISAPPOINTED!! AND I WAS EMBARRASSED 😞! Such a BAD SERVICE TONIGHT !!! SHAMEFUL experience!!
