I came here years ago with my dog and had a less than pleasant experience- my waitress was kind of a jerk. So i decided to give another try and am so glad I did. The waitress, busboy, hostess were all phenomenal! Although I didn't have my dog with me this time I saw someone bring out a blanket for a dog so it wouldn't b on the hot concrete. Major points!! Although our food didn't take that long we were given mimosas for the wait. And everything I ordered was delish! I will absolutely b back :)

I had breakfast and ordered crisp bacon with my order. I was charged extra for my bacon because it was not part of the order. I asked for crisp and it came back completely fat. And by the way the woman next to me ordered her bacon extra crispy. They said they give me a new order and returned with something that didn’t resemble bacon and was so crisp it cracked when I broke it. I nicely told the young lady ( was she the manager?) And she saw what it looked like. I was still charged the four dollars for the bacon. I won’t be going back.

I understand the vibe here. It’s a cute little place that serves classic breakfast items with some flair and boozy breakfast drinks. Unfortunately, their food was not as pleasant. I ordered the chicken and waffles: big disappointment. The chicken was a long, thin slab of what they say is thigh meat? But I could barely taste any chicken; all I could taste was the crunchy, fried batter that encased the tiny slice of chicken inside of it. The waffles were ok. The only saving grace was the jalapeño butter that came with it all. The dish also came with some fruit, which didn’t really make sense with this dish, but again, that’s the vibe of the place. When I order chicken and waffles, I expect some heft to it - a nice portion of meat and a thick, fluffy waffle to soak up some syrup and sate my appetite - not a chunk of fried batter with a little slice of meat in between. $16 for that dish is an absolute scam. This is a good place to hang out, have a few drinks, and enjoy the atmosphere with some friends on a warm day when the windows are open. But if you’re looking for some good chicken and waffles, look somewhere else.

Cute ambiance. Food isn’t good quality, bland and each time I’ve been here you have to try extra hard to flag your server down for basic needs like condiments or coffee refills. My friend also had a hair in her food today. I told her I didn’t want to come to this place today and she really wanted to. The only thing she was left eating at brunch was her words.

Awesome food, wonderful people, funky ambiance from the 70s. Green eggs and Ham is my favorite. Cherrywood pancakes also great. Exceptional Bloody Mary’s. Cool outdoor patio in back
