I happened upon this tavern by accident. I’m very happy I went in for several drinks. The interior is dark and old in a charming way. The staff is friendly and prices are great. They carry Delirium Tremens which is my favourite beer. I also discovered a delicious guava flavoured cider.

Flew in from out of town the night we went to Kasey’s Tavern. We first did research of the top rated bars near South Loop. Kasey’s Tavern was one them. This bar was crowded but a popular spot for date night, small gatherings or hanging on your own. Plenty of drink options and good food options. The bartenders were so friendly and really attentive. We ended up ordering pizza at the end of night and this didn’t disappoint at all. We had the best start to our Chicago trip by going to this bar first.
