Kanok - Chicago
Budget-friendly sushi spot caters to a neighborhood crowd, particularly for its very popular "all you can eat" menu Monday through Friday. It's family-owned and tiny, but typically draws a clubby crowd.

Was actually decent until I saw a roach crawling down the wall! Right next to my friend! My friend jumps once i tell her, the waitress just gets a napkin and smashes it then says "Oh sorry..." Gross. Never again. Next time you order that tempura crunch, think about what's in it. Eww, I won't be going again.
This is a quiet sushi/thai place on Broadway near Hawthorne. They offer lots of Thai dishes and sushi rolls including an all-you-can-eat sushi option. They're rolls are good and prices are comparable to other sushi spots. They are BYOB, too, which is always nice. But by far my favorite thing about Kanok is their Tom Kha soup. It is hands down the best I've ever had. The flavor is unbelievably good and if there was anyway I could recreate it at home I'd be the happiest person around.
Best affordable sushi in Lakeview. Monday - Thursday is $22.00 all you can eat. Best deal in town!
Go there during the week for all you can eat sushi! An amazing price for all you can eat: apps, soup, salad, and sushi! and it's AMAZING!!!
I love this place, the guy who owns it use to own a korean market I love as well. No one really got it, I live on Asian Markets for food and equipment or home decor shopping. My home theme: African meets Asia.
