Excellent service and exciting presentation/tastes. But for $200 for two people I expect to get good quality meet (not pork belly or heart) and be full at the end of the night. They serve bite size dishes. Regret going there. If you want to do something different and experiment for a hefty price, I would recommend. Otherwise you will be disappointed and hungry.

Visited the restaurant 2 weeks ago for our anniversary using a Living Social coupon for $99/person for the 10 course dinner with wine. Disappointed in the lack of restaurant ambiance,the front half was partitioned off for use, no tablecloths and a very casual wait staff. We were informed the menu was beer themed with craft beer companion selections for each course, wine would be additional although not identified as to its price. The 10 courses were spaced over 3 hours with excruciating explanation on ingredients per course that was often indecipherable in it's understanding - actual courses' content barely constituted a mouthful !! We did not find the courses particularly flavorful. Wine was varied and good. Had we paid the normal $300/person for the 10 course dinner we would have been livid on its shortcomings. As it was our tab, exclusive of the initial coupon cost, was $275 - have eaten at the some of the best restaurants in the world for that $$$ and ING simply does not compare.

One of a kind restaurant offering a different tasting menu every quarter or so. The Salvador Dali inspired 4-course tasting menu with non-alcohol drinks pairing was fun, playful, and very tasty. The first course included miracle berry that changes your sour palette to sweet; trippy dining experience. The drinks pairing was amazing: almost could stand on its own. This restaurant offers unique interpretations of food and is a must try staple of Chicago culinary world.

On a food tour through the West Loop, one of our stops was ING (Imagining New Gastronomy). The sister store to Moto (located right next door) -it's a touch of creativity that you'll love to dive into. They are pushing the realm of creativity by bringing us a new tasting menu each month, each with it's own unique inspiration. For the 'budget' minded (I wouldn't really say budget friendly) it has a lot of the same ideas found in Moto but at a price that's a little easier on the pocketbook. The one thing that this spot does better than any other of it's kind though is the unique way it has to play with your taste buds. The focus of the flavors rely on one little outstanding creation that they have helped make infamous to foodies everywhere. The Miracle Berry. If you've heard of it or tried it you know what I'm talking about already. If you haven't, the miracle berry will blow your flavor palate into an entirely new world. They call it 'flavor tripping' and once you experience it you'll understand why. What would you say to a pill that changes the flavors of everything you eat for ten to fifteen minutes. Not just the flavors but the base sensations that go along with them? It changes Sour to sweet and completely changes the flavor profile of dishes! If you are looking for a unique food experience, look no further! ING will give you that and a surprisingly tasty experience to boot!
