I’ve been eating at Coast for nearly a decade, and it’s always been quality, tasty sushi. Still is. It has also always been a little expensive. But after their recent price increases they’re sky high now. I assumed it was just the market, but tonight I checked around for some place new and discovered that they’ve left the market in the area, far, far behind. If their clientele will continue to patronize them with their prices being so much higher than other quality competitors in the area, good for them. But they’ve gotten too rich for my blood. It’s just too poor a value at this point. For context, a spicy salmon roll with avocado and a white dragon, one regular roll and one signature roll, come to $38. Wow.
