Steve McDonagh and Dan Smith, a.k.a. the Hearty Boys, transform their catering facility/TV studio into a full-scale restaurant -- with weekend brunch service. Dishes are whimsical, retro and fun and are based off their full-scale catering program. HEARTY CLOSED DECEMBER 2013 and will reopen as Spritz Burger in winter 2014.

Absolutely amazing experience at Brass Heart The quality of the food, the amazing and unusual presentation and the delicious ingredients made for a truly memorable evening. The atmosphere is refined and relaxing. We enjoyed the variety of music, everything from hip-hop, R&B to acoustic guitar. This place is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. One of the best dinners I have ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough. The wine pairing was also fantastic and I am a pretty particular person when it comes to wine. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. I cannot wait to come back again with friends, family, and anyone who will be ready for a splurge night. Kudos kudos kudos!
