I was a part of a large group of people that had reached out days prior to coming in on a Sunday for brunch. We were told that they did not take reservations but still encouraged us to come in.
We showed up right when the restaurant opened at 11:30 am, and were immediately given grief for having a group as large as we did, despite the call and conversation days earlier. We were eventually told to sit down in an area, where no more than 10 minutes later we were asked to move again because of a different large group who had a reservation...Our group was upset to say the least, as we were clearly told reservations couldn't be taken.
We were then seated where multiple tables were pushed together, but some of the staff were still showing frustration for having to serve us. One young lady that didn't typically work the mornings was very nice, but the remainder of the wait staff was not too kind. It took roughly 30 minutes for the staff to even start taking our orders, and then our food didn't come out for another hour and a half.
The food was pretty good, so I would recommend that. However, I think there's a huge issue with service in this establishment. If you take reservations, accept reservations. If there's a conflict, tell your customers the truth so they can determine if they still want to go or if another plan should be set up. This was handled very poorly and wouldn't recommend this place for somewhere larger groups are welcome.
