Very good all around. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere. The menu is pricey but it is a great place for a special occasion; birthday / anniversary.
The food was good but nothing to knock your socks off. The Cesar salad had fresh lettuce and both the croutons and dressing tasted home made. The fish...
Outstanding service and food. Primerib chop is my favorite but many great fish options as well.
This was not my first trip to this steakhouse. Unfortunately, much less gratifying than the last one. The ambiance is pleasant, dark, woody with brick, homy with oversized family-themed photographs. Typical set up with small bar up front, where you can wait for the rest of your party and a medium size dinning room. The dinning room has an electric fireplace. Nice touch, but make sure you are not seated right next to it else you burn! Well spaced tables covered with dark table cloth and (unfortunately) cheep piece of white paper. The stains show very vividly on that paper and by the time you are done, it looks like you very dining at Burrito King, not upscaled steakhouse. We ordered lobster bisque and french onion soup. Both delicious - bisque had a ton of lobster in it, the french onion was very flavorful. That was followed by Chilean bass and Porterhouse steak. The fish was tasty, in a silky smooth sauce. The middle age lady server (who's English was really rudimentary and hard to understand) behaved as if she had no clue how to properly serve a meal. She spilled the wine when pouring it for testing, then she forgot to pour my companion; never once came to ask if we needed anything or how was the food (we had to drink each other water until a busboy delivered more); she dropped silverware; etc. etc. Not a service you would expect in a steakhouse that presumes to be one of the best in the neighborhood.
Old school vibe with excellent food. I've had both the lobster as well as a steak. The strip steak was sizable and perfectly prepared. The same goes for the...
