Swift & Sons Tavern and Oyster Bar - Chicago
The casual sibling to Fulton Market District's wildly popular Swift & Sons steakhouse, Swift & Sons Tavern and Oyster Bar is in the former home for Dutch & Doc's.
The restaurant is situated in one of the sweetest spots of Wrigleyville, at the corner of Addison and Clark. It focuses on
approachable meat- and seafood-centric dishes, with one of the points of attraction a striking 30-foot oyster bar complete with chefs shucking to order greeting guests upon entry.
Menu highlights include po'boys (fried oyster or shrimp); an open-face, char-grilled, dry-aged rib-eye sandwich; warm spinach artichoke dip and a selection of steaks, from a petite filet to New York strip.
Given the restaurant's proximity to Wrigley Field, the tavern offers programming exclusive to Cubs games, both home and away. "Pints & Pearls" (a playful reference to beers and baseballs) features $4 draft beers and $1 oysters available from first pitch to last out of every Cubs game during the season. The games will also be broadcast on the 17 TVs inside the restaurant.
The restaurant is owned by Boka Restaurant Group, which is also behind Boka, Momotaro, Girl & the Goat, Cabra and more more.
