Deer Path Inn - Lake Forest
Established in 1929, the historic Deer Path Inn was designed to resemble an old English manor home. It's situated in upscale Lake Forest, located on Chicago's prominent North Shore.
In recent years, Deer Path Inn has re-envisioned its concept for accommodations, dining and drinking--without stripping away its original interior/exterior. Its 57 guest rooms and suites have been modernized while maintaining a quaint "Downton Abbey"-esque atmosphere.
There are also three unique dining spaces where guests and community members may congregate for a meal or drinks, but the Hearth Room is a cozy, communal space near the lobby designed to be just as important to the guests’ experience as the spacious guest rooms.
Filled with intimately grouped furniture, the Hearth Room serves as the heart of The Inn’s communal spaces, a popular destination for guests and locals looking for a comfortable area to relax and chat with friends while sipping on complimentary coffee and tea or to post-up with a laptop.
