Making a reservation for a table was east via their website. It's been a while since I've been there but was as fun as I remember. Ordered bottle service....
My BFF and I started here for our St. Patrick's Day bar crawl. Great bartenders, good music. Nice atmosphere.
This place was awesome back around 2007 - 2010 when it was fairly new and Flosstradamus were doing DJ sets once a week. They had bathroom attendants and God...
Debonair is a terrible club, we prepaid the cover and immediately got bounced because they said that too many people were there ruining my friends birthday. I think it’s because we were profiled I’m genuinely disappointed in the service I received.
I’ve been going to Debonair for nearly 9years—so it’s in the rotation of places I like to go especially if I find myself in the area. I generally do not like places with covers, mainly because I spend so much on booze while I’m there, that I think a cover is bs—BUT I do (really) LIKE going to Debonair so when I have to I will pay it. :) Overall, this place holds a special and weird place in my heart because I don’t know how to classify it—is it an edm club? Is it an ultra lounge? Is it a divey bar/club? Is it a dance club? Is it a live music venue? Is it a rock club? Is a disco bodega? Is it sometimes the spot with crazy interesting events? I think Debonair can be one or all of them in one night—and that is f’ing fantastic—I love adventures and Debonair always seems to serve them up to me each time I am there. I’ve met amazing and cool people, listened to great music, danced like hell, and just generally had great times at Debonair. The bar staff always are great and very approachable and awesome. To me, debonair has been one of the most welcoming and inviting spots for all people since some of the great people I’ve met here are quite eccentric. I guess what I am saying, is I am forever grateful for my buddy who brought me here on the first night I went out after moving to Chicago, and I am glad they are still here after the pandemic. Thanks Debonair! (Side note, I’ve lost my phone here some years back, and the staff made an effort to find it (and did!) and made sure I got it back—which really made my night.)
