Coq d'Or, The Drake Hotel

The first bar in Chicago granted a liquor license after the repeal of Prohibition always makes a lasting impression with authentic decor that's been restored to its original glory. You'll get a true classic cocktail experience from bartenders who have worked here long before the mixology craze hit Chicago. The food is also classic Chicago, including Bookbinder Soup (classic Drake red snapper soup), seasonal pot pie and Deviled eggs. There's live piano music every Friday and Saturday.
